Student Authors
Students in kindergarten through grade three write and illustrate a page in a class book on a particular topic. After the books are published each student takes one home and one stays in the classroom library. These books become classroom favorites for students to read.
Students in grades four and above write individual stories on the computer, illustrate the story, print it out and assemble it to send to the publisher. Each student receives his/her own hardcover, published book and one is kept in the classroom library.
