Miller Gormley Qualifies for the National Geographic Geography Bee

Eight grader, Miller Gormley, has qualified to represent Wider Horizons School and participate at the state level of the National Geographic Geography Bee. The Florida State Bee will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007 at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville. Miller won the contest at the school level in January 2007. One winner from each state and territory will advance to the national competition which will be held May 22 and 23 at the National Geographic Society headquarters in Washington, D.C.
